Stay curious.

What’s your yoga style? I teach creative, flowing yoga sequences focusing on strengthening and lengthening, catered to a wide range of experience levels. I believe yoga is about you and your uniqueness and I use an authentic and non-judgmental teaching style, enabling students to find the ease and proper alignment in poses through specific cues, gentle adjustments and modifications. I endeavor to help students explore the simple, calm conversation between mind, body and breath on their mat, and then to carry this mindful union off the mat into their daily life.

About me: I am curious and love adventures. My first yoga class was in Rwanda, and I remember the teacher saying “relax in downward facing dog,” and I was thinking this is not in the least bit relaxing!!!! Fast forward many years and my yoga journey has been woven throughout my life, constant but ever changing, helping me find the ease not just in poses but in everything we call life.

Where you’ll find me when I am not at yogaloft: I love the outdoors (preferably in the sunshine) hiking and rock climbing. I truly believe that nature is good for the soul.

Favorite Destination: I am from Scotland but have been very fortunate to live in many countries and have liked each one for different reasons, but for me it’s always the people that make a place. Teaching yoga in many different countries has been a great way to meet people from all different walks of life, hear their stories and share our love of yoga
