Whats your yoga style? I want everyone to feel welcome in my class and I love having students who are taking their first yoga class(es) in my class. I like to see people relaxed so I enjoy teaching a slow yin restorative class because I believe we live in a very “yang” world where everything is moving very fast. However, sometimes it can be difficult to slow down on command and I therefore also love to teach a mix of a dynamic flow before we move into a few long-held yin poses.
About me: I am Swedish but grew up in Luxembourg with my parents, who made sure I would not lose my “Swedishness,” and my sister Anna who is 3 years younger and now lives in Amsterdam. I loved going to school and participated in all after-school sports activities. I went on to study 1 year of medicine in Budapest before I decided to quit and change to a degree in Business Management in the UK. I worked as an auditor and compliance officer before taking over yogaloft. together with Tulsi.
I love my job and we have so much fun even when the world is crazy and our minds sometimes explode from all the ideas and thoughts.
Most memorable yoga experience: Attending my yoga teacher trainings (YogaWorks 200 hours in 2015 & 100 houra yin yoga and myofascial release technique 2016) were the best decisions I ever made and it inspired me to share the practice with others and I now continuously try to incorporate yoga into the daily lives of those around me whether they are on the mat or not.
Guilty pleasure: Candy (my great-grandfather had a chocolate factory so I guess it is in my genes!)
Why I love yoga: I always feel better after (any) yoga.
