In 1998, I started doing yoga for stress relief and to improve flexibility, however, I discovered that there was so much more to it. Yoga taught me how to love myself making me feel connected and content. The mental strength and courage it has brought is the most amazing gift. In 2014, I completed the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Course (500HRS) with the intention of deepening my understanding of yoga and furthering my own practice. I want to take a more proactive role in spreading the yoga love in the hope that others would benefit as I have. Later, I discovered Yin Yoga, which for me is a bridge between the active, dynamic Yang and the stillness of a sitting meditation practice. This Prompted me to take the Yin Yoga Teacher Training, which I completed last year. Now I wish to pass on this particular practice to my students as it is incredibly adaptable and can be customized to suit everybody regardless of flexibility or age.
