Whats your yoga style? I enjoy bringing inclusivity and fun to all my classes, creating intentional and considered sequences. My style also includes educating my students on how to get the most out of their bodies safely to maintain longevity. As a result of my passion towards Pranayama and Dhyana, I deliberately guide my students into the more subtle aspects of the practice. I wholeheartedly believe Yoga should be adapted for the individual, not the individual adapted to the Yoga. My weekly classes offer a multi-faceted approach, blending the art of asana practice with the science and mechanics of movement due to my training in neurology, anatomy, physiology and weaving together knowledge and experience

About me: What began as a personal practice – born out of an introduction to mediation during my childhood martial arts training – has become something of a mission; to help others intelligently know and heal their physical body, emotions, and spirit.

My evolution from yogi to yoga teacher, advanced practitioner in Thai Medical Massage Therapy and other Holistic Therapies, has been a natural development based upon the importance of continual growth and learning.

Forever a student, I’m continually looking to develop my understanding, which is where yoga teaching prompted further education in the human body and linked intrinsically through to diet and wellness.

I have a profound interest in Eastern philosophies and medicine, therefore over the past 10 yrs. I’ve completed trainings, immersions, and workshops all over Europe, Indonesia, UAE, Far East & Australia.

I’ve studied many different modalities, including Reiki, Chinese medicine, energetic anatomy, Buddhism and meditation while living in a Buddhist monastery in Thailand; and have trained in varies styles of Yoga.

For me, yoga is not solely the practice that you perform on your mat, but an approach to living, to your friendships, your relationships, your work. It’s an energy that you take from the mat and transfer to all areas of your life.

I’m tremendously passionate about sharing the teaching journey with others, therefore I’ve been training and mentoring newly qualified yoga teachers in the past.

I’m eternally gratefully to all my teachers, masters and students I’ve met and practiced with, as they were a substantial part of the process for me to shape into a teacher who I am today.

Where you’ll find me when I’m not at yogaloft:
I’m balancing my time between teaching, working and being a full-time mama. In my free time (when I have some left!) I love going to my dance classes of Salsa & Bachatta, climbing and cooking.

Favorite food: Thai

One thing you have achieved that you are really proud of: I’ve undergone twice a 10-day Vipassana Meditation Retreat, which I consider the most difficult adventure I’ve ever experienced. In my words “Vipassana is like surgery for the mind.” I’ve learned a lot by being with myself over those ten days in silence., some positive and some not so positive.
