Elodie Covella

Whats your yoga style? My style is dynamic and vinyasa inspired, which is the way I love my own practice. Even though my classes can be challenging sometimes, I would like to highlight that everyone is welcome in my classes, I like to offer variations for beginners to more advanced students. As much as I love teaching dynamic classes, I believe yoga is all about balance, so I really enjoy teaching yin and restorative yoga as well, in order to balance out the yang. We live in a society, which is very yang-based, so I believe it’s important to take the time for yourself and slow down, which is exactly what these long-held poses are enabling you to do.

About me: I was born and raised in Luxembourg, and I’m an English teacher in a secondary school in Luxembourg.I have been doing yoga on and off for years, but what really brought me to yoga and a yogic lifestyle was a traumatic experience in 2018. Shortly afterwards, I travelled to Southeast Asia where I discovered my love for yoga. I am a person who likes to enjoy life and live in the present moment.

Why I love yoga: Yoga is the one thing in my life, which is always there when I need it. I love practicing yoga and meditating first thing in the morning. This way, I feel ready to take on whatever life throws at me. My practice is the most important part of my day and I don’t feel like my day is complete without it.

Spirit Animal: The koala bear (I love sleeping just as much as them).
