My teaching style: I am trained in the Jivamukti method and this is what I enjoy teaching the most. Jivamukti is a dynamic and energizing yoga flow accompanied by music. Each class includes specific 14 points.
There are however days when I feel like breaking the rules and exploring further, letting you practice something a little bit different. I enjoy incorporating meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises) and chanting of mantras accompanied by harmonium into my classes
About me: I discovered yoga as a teenager when growing up in Czechia. That time yoga helped me to overcome teenage struggles and to find a right balance for my physical body that was suffering from a lot of tension due to a lot of biking and spinning. Little did I know that these ancient yoga practices will be my trusted companion in the future and that they will show me a whole universe beyond mere physical exercise.
In 2018, I have decided to embark on a life-long learning path by participating in my first yoga teacher training. Yoga also brought me back to active music playing which I have abandoned after completing 7 years of piano lessons. Nowadays I happily chant being accompanied by the sound of harmonium. Whether on a top of a hill, on a meditation cushion or on a bike saddle, meditation is the secret force that keeps me going.
Dealing with anxiety, yoga is helping me to believe in myself and the universe, gently reminding me not to give up even when the days are dark. I believe that everything that happens to us, happens for a reason. As such, I try to see this as a guide that helps me to become a better version of my ‘Self.’
Where you’ll find me when I am not at yogaloft: Swinging on the hammock in my little garden or with my hands in the soil taking care of plants and flowers.
Favorite Destination: In my heart. When in peace in my heart, I can be anywhere in the world and feel the beauty. I love tropical forests of Costa Rica, colors of India, smells of homeland in Czechia and tastes of my second homeland Puglia.
