My teaching style: My teaching style is a colorful mix of all the Yoga teachers that have crossed my path. I respect and appreciate all styles out there and find there is something to learn from every linage. In general, I like to teach a strong Vinyasa flow, but I tune into the situation and adjust as required. I like to add music as I feel it helps to keep the monkey mind down. “Most people have no idea how good their body is designed to feel” and I am hoping to empower my students to reconnect with their mind body and soul.
About me: My yoga life started at yogaloft. Luxembourg. I was about to enter an ocean sailing race that lasted three months and to prepare for that intense challenge I needed to build my upper body strength. Out on the Pacific Ocean, offshore, sailing those magnificent azure blue waves I realized: YOGA it is!
A big influence on my practice was and still is Isabelle Thill, the original founder of yogaloft, she made me fall in love with the practice. I passed my Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training with Micheline Berry (USA/L.A. based Liquid Asana Vinyasa) and Selina Gullery (citizen of the world, A holistic approach to all and everything). To discover the magic of YIN YOGA was another important step. Pradeep Teotia’s Bhakti Yoga WELCOME HOME & BE BRAVE MY FRIEND (USA/India) enriches and inspires me on and off the mat. What a bliss that YOGA unites so many different styles.
Favorite yoga pose: Savasana. In the end, the entire quality of the practice will be experienced in this pose. Savasana also called death pose - it confronts you with the end, and the bliss of a new beginning when you raise from it. I find that an inspiring aspect of the pose.
