IYENGARⓇ yoga is characterized by safe and systematic progression of study to develop each student’s skills and abilities.
The Iyengar method pride itself on making yoga accessible to every age and every body. The use of props, designed by BKS Iyengar, such as wooden gadgets, belts, ropes helps the practitioner to achieve the correct alignment in asana. Clear and safe instructions from the teacher guide one, step by step, on a steady path for the practice of asanas (poses), pranayama (regulation of the breath) and deep relaxation.
Regular practice of IYENGARⓇ Yoga integrates the body, mind and emotions.

Restorative Iyengaris open to all, following the principles of alignment, precision and duration of holding the poses which are central to Iyengar Yoga. These classes are based on specific sequences of poses and variations that can be held longer to focus on relaxation of the body and mind.
It is designed for both students who have experience in dynamic classes and want to have a complementary restorative practice, and for tired people, seniors, women after childbirth, people with very stiff backs or back pain.
