Positive Psychology Workshop Next Weekend “Dr. Happy” (Pamela Strasser!) is in the loft next Sunday July 8th 14h30-16h30 Set Goals. Define values. Get motivated. Understand lasting happiness. Reserve your space: www.yogaloft.lu €50
Creating lasting well-being: Values, Goals and Motivation
In order to feel lastingly happy, we need to feel motivated and have goals in our lives towards which we can work. Yet, these goals need to be of a specific nature in order to give us meaning and purpose in life. As a matter of fact, there is an important link between our values, our levels of motivation, our goals and how much well-being we experience in life.
In this workshop, you will learn how to determine your values, how to increase motivation and to set goals for yourselves that are in line with who you truly are, in order to increase meaning, purpose and well-being in your life.
We will look at the research and theory Positive Psychology has published over the years regarding our topic of the day, followed by practical exercises to create your own set of meaningful goals for a lastingly happy life.
We will finish the workshop with a Q&A session.
Should you wish to embark on your personal happiness adventure after the workshop and would like a little guidance, you can book private consultations with Pamela. Contact us!
Just bring yourself, comfortable clothes and a little notebook and pen.

This is a short yet intensive workshop that aims to demystify the practice of yoga. One will gain an understanding and depended experience into what HATHA YOGA is. An all-too-common expression is that Hatha yoga is about balancing the body and mind. With ‘ha’ representing the esoteric sun, and ‘tha’ the moon, and the practice of Hatha yoga aiming to join, yoke, or balance these two energies. It is perceived that a Hatha yoga typically involve a set of physical postures and breathing techniques, practised more slowly and with more static posture holds. However, Hatha means ‘force’ and is more traditionally defined as ‘the yoga of force’, or ‘the means of attaining a state of yoga through force’. What to expect?

asana - yoga postures (practised in any style of 'yoga')
pranayama - breathing techniques
mantra - chanting or reciting
mudra - hand gestures
shatkriyas and shatkarmas - cleansing techniques and visualisations.
About Pragya Kothari:
Pragya was born and raised in Rishikesh in India, a town notoriously famous with spiritual seekers and yoga addicts and widely regarded as the birthplace of yoga. She grew up exploring various lineages of yoga, taking workshops in Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga since the age of 14. Now living in Luxembourg, she's enthusiastic about sharing her cultural, spiritual and practical understanding of yoga with fellow practitioners. "On the mat, I aim to enable students to discover a place inside them where strength and calm reside, off the mat I encourage students to breathe and smile." @moonlover_pragya
