HIIT Yoga (HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING) combines yoga with Tabata style exercises to create a dynamic, high energy fitness class. Classes begin with 25 minutes of Vinyasa Flow yoga to warm and stretch the body followed by 12 minutes of Tabata style exercises and finishing with gentle yoga stretches to cool. Tabata intervals are 20 seconds with a 10 second rest period, exercises are different every time and modifications are happily given for those with knee, back or other injuries. Everyone is encouraged to come and work at their own fitness level. The intention of this class is to build strength, move dynamically and try something new.
