In Foundational Yoga class, alignment is the emphasis. This class takes the time to explore and refine the practice through increased awareness of the body and breath. Students are taught “how to do” asanas as well as the use of props. Foundational Yoga provides the underlying structure to help a student practice yoga postures intelligently and safely. Beginners are encouraged to take this class, however intermediate and advanced students will also benefit from exploring the alignment essentials, and detailed techniques presented.
