Since my discovery of yoga eight years ago, I have become increasingly interested in the benefits of the practice of yoga. Discovering the connection between the mind and body on my yoga mat has been a fascinating journey of self-discovery. As of January 2015 I completed my 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training in Bali with Yogaworks. Attending the yoga teacher training is one of the best decisions I ever made and it has inspired me to share the practice with others. I am convinced that everybody can experience the many benefits of yoga regardless of age, health or physical ability. In January 2016 I continued to expand my yoga knowledge and completed a 100-hour yin yoga and myofascial release technique training in Morocco. With a focus on the connection between yoga and chronic pain reduction/injury prevention I continuously try to incorporate yoga into the daily lives of those around me. My teaching focuses on releasing tension in the body to create space within the mind for optimal peace and physical well-being. My classes are tailored to the specific needs of each student and I look forward to having you in my class!
